A day at Peninsula Humane Society

Once per month I have the pleasure and privilege of photographing the animals of the Peninsula SPCA.  I generally take photos of the long timers, pets who have been at the shelter for a year or more.  This past weekend I photographed Cara – a beautiful 4 year-old pit bull who I think has a terrific personality.  Unfortunately, whoever “owned” her before she was found as a stray cropped her ears and didn’t do a nice job of it.  This makes Cara seem more fierce than she truly is.  She has a great big smile and needs a loving home.  For information about Cara or any of the wonderful pets waiting for their new homes, please click on the humane society link.

UPDATE*** Great news Cara was adopted after almost 2 years in the shelter and foster care.  Congrats and Enjoy!
