You Deserve Photos of Your Entire Family
A relaxed and playful portrait experience for dogs, kids, and the people that love them in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Pets are a part of your family tree!
Many believe that bringing their dog to a portrait studio is too much hassle. And a family portrait session, especially including pets, would be chaos. I get it, I'm a mom, a business owner and I have three pets at home. I also know how treasured these portraits become over time.
- Worried about how your dogs or kids might behave?
- Unsure if you want to be in the photos?
- Concerned a custom photoshoot will be too demanding in terms of time and effort?
“If you’ve seen her photos, you already know Cyndi has an incredible eye. But until you experience her in action you have no idea how lucky you are to have found her. Count your blessings!”
"Wow!!! They are fantastic! I am thrilled with the pictures. I also wanted to tell you that Lincoln said that you were the best photographer he's ever had take his picture.
“Truly, the pictures are amazing. The large print metal is wonderful. Thank you so very much."
"This is our 3rd session with Cyndi. She is fantastic and her photos & ordering options are great. She works wonders with humans and dogs alike to make everyone at ease. We couldn't be happier with the results."
“The photos are wonderful. It is so hard to choose among them.”
“I absolutely love them! The print-on metal portrait has arrived. Its breathtakingly beautiful. The expression in his eyes is really amazing. You do such great work!“
"We couldn't be happier with the photos of our daughter. They were a Father's Day gift and my husband literally cried when he saw them."
"Cyndi takes the time to ask all the right questions about your dog's personality and disposition. Thanks for capturing precious moments of my best friend."
"We had a wonderful experience with Cyndi. We went over to her studio to have pictures of our two-rescue canine babies taken. Cyndi was very patient with our youngest, who was very scared. The picture turned out so great and we were very happy with the results. I would highly recommend Cyndi for your puppy (and human) pictures!"
"This was the most amazing experience for my daughter and her puppy. The pictures turned out absolutely fabulous I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!!! Every single picture is amazing."
Portraits are just as eternal as the love of our pets and children.

Hi I’m Cyndi. I’m a pet and child photographer but more importantly, I am a mom and a lifelong dog lover.
I grew up with my doggie best friend, Heidi, and my son grew up with Jasmine, his Dalmatian sister. I know exactly how special the bond we develop with our furry best friend is.
With over 13 years of experience photographing kids, pets, and the families who love them, I've developed a calm, laid-back style that makes subjects comfortable. Smiles and hugs come naturally and we focus on your connections.

When we adopted Lily from the shelter she was terrified of us, loud noises, electrical cords and people walking down the street. The only thing she wasn’t afraid of was other dogs and because she is a pit mix we wanted to continue to foster her love of other dogs. To do this we felt […]Read More
In part 1 of the blog about Emeryville we traveled to Pixar, the Town hall and the community gardens. Now we head off to the marina. What was that? You didn’t know Emeryville has a marina and even a waterfront park! They do, even some good restaurants like Trader Vic’s (not to be confused with the Traders […]Read More
Welcome to my new series of articles on little known or new fun places in the East Bay Area to take your dogs. As a pet portrait photographer I’m always on the lookout for cool new places to use for location shoots. Today we start in Emeryville. I am a Bay Area native, my parents […]Read More
You may recognize this cutie from other posts. This is Buddy, one of my first clients and admittedly one of my favorites. Partly because he is just a really special dog with a great chill personality and partly because he reminds me of our Harry. Buddy and Harry look nothing alike, but they share a similar quality, those rare and special […]Read More
I love a good dog hike and Saturday afternoon I spent some time with Niko and Izzie, who took me on a great hike through the Redwoods in the Oakland hills. On this Oakland dog portrait session , Niko is a very cool Cattle Dog who loves not only his frisbee, but is clearly devoted […]Read More
Saturday morning found me in Hayward photographing these two cute kitties, Lil’Guy, who isn’t that little, and Jimmy, who is well…..Jimmy. In my experience cats rarely feel like participating in a photo shoot, but these two were good sports. They showed me some of their favorite spots on the couch and then took me outside to show me how […]Read More
Reese and I go way back, back to the days when he was just a mini-MinPin; which is the better part of the past decade. Reese is the pal and companion of my long-time friend, Carla. Lisa and I spent the weekend with Carla and her hubby, Pieter, two weekends ago in their beautiful home […]Read More
I was on vacation the week before Christmas in beautiful, sunny San Diego when I had the chance to do a little traveling pet photography. I had a session in Balboa Park with our good friend Tena and her amazing dog, Skylar. Skylar is an amazingly well trained and very, very sweet beautiful lab who, […]Read More
Today I have a very sweet pair to share with you; Rex and Buffy the Cocker Spaniels. I’m sorry to say this isn’t my typical sneak peak as my session was a bit of an emergency; you see Rex had late stage cancer. I’m even sorrier to have to say that he lost his battle […]Read More
