Pets are a part of your family tree!

Many believe that bringing their dog to a portrait studio is too much hassle.  And a family portrait session, especially including pets, would be chaos. I get it, I'm a mom, a business owner and I have three pets at home.  I also know how treasured these portraits become over time.

  • Worried about how your dogs or kids might behave?
  • Unsure if you want to be in the photos?
  • Concerned a custom photoshoot will be too demanding in terms of time and effort?

Client Love!

“If you’ve seen her photos, you already know Cyndi has an incredible eye. But until you experience her in action you have no idea how lucky you are to have found her. Count your blessings!”

~ Jenny

The picture turned out so great and we were very happy with the results. I would highly recommend Cyndi for your puppy (and human) pictures!"

~ Lindsay

Portraits are just as eternal as the love of our pets and children.

Don't miss out on creating memories of your relationships. After 13 years in business and hundreds of sessions each year, I've personally experienced the joy and magic that creating images in a studio can bring.

My team and I work with you from start to finish to make sure everyone, pets, and kids included, is comfortable during the session.

Trust me when I say that you can actually enjoy the process, and capture that special bond in portraits to enjoy on the walls of your home.

Meet Cyndi

Hi I’m Cyndi. I’m a pet and child photographer but more importantly, I am a mom and a lifelong dog lover.

I grew up with my doggie best friend, Heidi, and my son grew up with Jasmine, his Dalmatian sister. I know exactly how special the bond we develop with our furry best friend is.

With over 13 years of experience photographing kids, pets, and the families who love them, I've developed a calm, laid-back style that makes subjects comfortable.  Smiles and hugs come naturally and we focus on your connections.

An incredibly sweet rescued Pit mix in Alameda

By Cyndi Kuiper | Nov 24, 2011

This past weekend I drove out to Alameda and met Sophie and her humans.  She is a very mellow and sweet pit/lab/shar pei mix.  Beautiful pit mix /dog, great personality and such a smooth coat I couldn’t stop petting her. Heidi and Brian rescued her back in February from Oakland Animal Services when at the […]

Today I want you to meet Wyatt, my second session from last weekend.  While it was sunny and beautiful everywhere else that day, by the time we got to Baker beach the fog had rolled in.  Ah well, Wyatt looked pretty good against an all white backdrop!  We were lucky though because about 20 minutes […]

Last weekend I had another Smile for a Cure session and met Charlie and Peanut, two senior red daschunds with their noses to ground sniffing for treats.  They didn’t sit still much, well actually, they barely stopped moving for more than 5 seconds so they kept me on my toes!  Nothing daunted I followed them […]

Yesterday, between rain showers (on Memorial Day weekend no less!), I got to spend some time with a kitty named Pharoah the cat.  Very sweet boy who tolerated the camera in his face pretty well.  Pharoah was rescued by his humans about a year ago when the neighbors moved and left him behind.  Now he […]
