You Deserve Photos of Your Entire Family
A relaxed and playful portrait experience for dogs, kids, and the people that love them in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Pets are a part of your family tree!
Many believe that bringing their dog to a portrait studio is too much hassle. And a family portrait session, especially including pets, would be chaos. I get it, I'm a mom, a business owner and I have three pets at home. I also know how treasured these portraits become over time.
- Worried about how your dogs or kids might behave?
- Unsure if you want to be in the photos?
- Concerned a custom photoshoot will be too demanding in terms of time and effort?
“If you’ve seen her photos, you already know Cyndi has an incredible eye. But until you experience her in action you have no idea how lucky you are to have found her. Count your blessings!”
"Wow!!! They are fantastic! I am thrilled with the pictures. I also wanted to tell you that Lincoln said that you were the best photographer he's ever had take his picture.
“Truly, the pictures are amazing. The large print metal is wonderful. Thank you so very much."
"This is our 3rd session with Cyndi. She is fantastic and her photos & ordering options are great. She works wonders with humans and dogs alike to make everyone at ease. We couldn't be happier with the results."
“The photos are wonderful. It is so hard to choose among them.”
“I absolutely love them! The print-on metal portrait has arrived. Its breathtakingly beautiful. The expression in his eyes is really amazing. You do such great work!“
"We couldn't be happier with the photos of our daughter. They were a Father's Day gift and my husband literally cried when he saw them."
"Cyndi takes the time to ask all the right questions about your dog's personality and disposition. Thanks for capturing precious moments of my best friend."
"We had a wonderful experience with Cyndi. We went over to her studio to have pictures of our two-rescue canine babies taken. Cyndi was very patient with our youngest, who was very scared. The picture turned out so great and we were very happy with the results. I would highly recommend Cyndi for your puppy (and human) pictures!"
"This was the most amazing experience for my daughter and her puppy. The pictures turned out absolutely fabulous I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!!! Every single picture is amazing."

Hi I’m Cyndi. I’m a pet and child photographer but more importantly, I am a mom and a lifelong dog lover.
I grew up with my doggie best friend, Heidi, and my son grew up with Jasmine, his Dalmatian sister. I know exactly how special the bond we develop with our furry best friend is.
With over 13 years of experience photographing kids, pets, and the families who love them, I've developed a calm, laid-back style that makes subjects comfortable. Smiles and hugs come naturally and we focus on your connections.

I first met Barbara, the matriarch of the B family, when her grand-daughter, Xoxa, participated in my Tween ‘Who I Am‘ Project. At the time we were reviewing Xoxa’s portrait, Barbara let me know she wanted a portrait of her entire family and she needed to do it soon, as her husband was ill. So […]Read More
One night last summer, while walking my dogs in the twilight, I was enjoying the gorgeous sunset and it occurred to me try shooting dogs along the shoreline as the sunset is creating this beautiful light against the skyline. This may sound easy, but it really isn’t. First off it requires an alternate light source […]Read More
I head out early with my camera gear to Lake Temescal in Oakland on what is promising to be another scorching hot day in the SF Bay Area. Summer is almost officially over and yet it has been blisteringly hot the past several days. I suggest to the B Family matriarch that an early morning […]Read More
A DOG PORTRAIT FUNDRAISER FOR MILO FOUNDATION As a pet photographer and lifelong animal lover, I’m always looking for ways I can help out rescue organizations. Since I started my business in 2009, I’ve been photographing dogs and cats to help them get adopted. That is why, when I saw a Facebook post back in […]Read More
Who doesn’t love taking pictures of their pups? But so often, the perfect photo ops happen without any planning and we don’t have a camera with us. So we whip out our cell phones and click away, hoping to get good results, usually with varying degrees of success. There are ways to help ensure the […]Read More
Meeting and photographing the W family was a whole lot of fun. They wanted a portrait session walking around in their Sunset District neighborhood, as they were about to move. We headed out along Noriega Street and strolled along visiting the shops and looking for cool backdrops for the portraits. We made our way down […]Read More
When Sam first contacted me she was considering a newborn session, but that is not my specialty so she decided to wait a few months until her baby was old enough to smile and make it a family affair. And smile little D did. What a sweet and easy going baby and he was so […]Read More
If you’ve read my blog before or scrolled through the galleries than you will have seen this handsome Bloodhound’s face on my site. Wyatt and I go back a ways….all the way back to 2011 and Baker beach where I met him for the first time. His human, Josephine, has his photo taken each year […]Read More
You know that I am a big proponent of adoption as the shelters are filled with amazing dogs looking for a good and loving home. This wonderful couple, while looking in various local shelters to adopt a dog, was approached one day by a neighbor who had decided to give up her too senior pups […]Read More
